Day of the Dead Stationery Box Reveal

Day of the Dead Stationery Box

The Day of the Dead Stationery Box was inspired by the film Coco. I wanted this box to be a celebration of life, full of fun and colour. The Day of the Dead is about honouring the life of loved ones and remembering them through their favourite foods. Sugar skull cookies are a huge part of that and I’ve pinned some recipes and tutorials on Pinterest if you want to make your own.

The stupendously amazing Frida Kahlo vinyl sticker is from the equally stupendous House of Wonderland; one of my all-time favourite stores. The sticker measures 10cm at the largest point and is perfect to stick on your laptop or lunch box! They are weatherproof and UV resistant for 3-5 years.

I love Mexican food. I’m sure what we cook is nothing like the real thing. Hopefully, these lovely stickers from The Laughing Sloth will help you to plan your Taco Tuesdays!

To carry on the Mexican theme, I thought moustaches and cocktails! Look what I found! Washi everything in sight!

The felt cacti caused some confusion! They are designed to make your own bunting to decorate for your fiesta but your imagination is the only limit! Stitch them to a tote bag; glue them to the front of a notebook… Tag me in your Instagram photos. I’d love to see!

I love these novelty cactus gel pens. Perfect for keeping in a pot on your desk. There is no reason why practical has to equal ugly! Gel pens are a Stationery Box staple. Can you ever have too many?

Our house is full of lego! After seeing Coco I bought the figures for my son and they were so fantastic that I thought you all needed one too! There are a couple of different designs to choose from.

The embroidered patch is ideal for decorating your tote bag or planner dust cover. Simply place the patch (embroidery side up) where you would like to stick it; cover with a clean tea towel; iron for approximately 30 seconds; turn inside out and iron again for 30 seconds. If it isn’t stuck, try ironing it for a little longer.

Day of the Dead Stationery Box would not be complete without an A5 calendar page for October and a sugar skull cut out.

I can’t wait to see how you use the contents of your box. Do tag me on social media so I can enjoy your photos too!
